Over 2 years back stateside, and loving every minute of it. Still working a crap job at the local mall, but hey, it's a job. Spending time with my lovely wife, our beautiful son, and all the family in this area. Still miss my family in Portland, even though they'll rarely talk to me. On the other hand, I've been adopted by so many crazies and non-crazies that my own crazy (JW) family don't affect me too much now. Hope all have enjoyed their last couple of years that I haven't really been on here lol

After a boring year spent away from his beloved wife, being stuck with the Arkansas National Guard, and serving in Iraq on Convoy missions, Specialist Stader is about 1 week from returning home. I was there in 2007 till a few months ago when I came back in May of 2008. Was up in the North as well near Tikrit (about 45 mins from it). Baiji was my area of Ops. Big Oil refinery there. Dont know if you have heard of the place.
